  • Dr. Tim Stoddard MD

    a general psychiatrist who has been caring for patients since 2003. He completed his undergraduate studies at Washington State University, earned his medical degree from Georgetown University, and completed his psychiatric residency at the University of Washington.

    A native of Coeur d’Alene and a proud military veteran, Dr. Stoddard is passionate about helping people find hope and healing through compassionate, practical mental health care that integrates spiritual truth and wisdom into treatment. He is a long-time member of Real Life Ministries and has been actively involved in Life Groups, International Discipleship, and Men’s Ministry.

  • Darren Smiley LPC

    Darren has been working 10 years in the Mental Health field as a therapist in a youth acute inpatient facility. His time there gave him experience with a wide variety of youth and their families struggling through a very difficult time. For 3 of those years he also worked as a therapist in a private Christian counseling firm, broadening his experience to helping those challenged by other types of trauma and life change such as codependency, individuals struggling in their marriage, and veterans.

    After 28 years in the Marine Corps Reserve and retiring as a Sergeant Major, Darren has a unique perspective as a veteran himself. Thanks to 2 combat deployments he has a passion to work with first responders and military dealing with past trauma. God has repeatedly used this experience to give him a voice in the life of others attempting to process their experiences and move forward in life.

    He earned his Master of Science in Professional Counseling through Grand Canyon University. He graduated the Fire and Police Chaplains Academy in 2018 and uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy along with other evidence-based practices to help bring healing and hope to those that are struggling. He believes in using Biblical principles to build relationships and healthy life skills to overcome what life can throw our way. He has experience in treating individuals with depression, anxiety, PTSD, oppositional defiant disorder, autism, self-harm, suicidal/homicidal ideations, reactive attachment disorder, marital problems, personality disorders and past trauma.

  • Tyson Durbin

    Tyson Durbin LPC

    Tyson Durbin is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with all ages and loves serving families. His approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, and trauma-informed practices, with an emphasis on emotional awareness, practical skill-building, and strengthening relationships.

    As both a counselor and a parent, Tyson recognizes how early stress, overlooked mental health concerns, digital habits, and disconnection can quietly shape behavior over time. He works collaboratively with clients to create space for insight, emotional regulation, and meaningful change. Meeting people where they are and helping them move forward with clarity and support.

    Tyson is especially passionate about supporting youth and families through prevention-focused education, healthy communication, and practical tools that can be used in everyday life.

  • Christy Jo Crowley

    Christy Jo Crowley LMSW

    Christy Jo is a Licensed Master Social Worker & Trust Based Relational Intervention Practitioner, with over 25 years working in schools, justice systems, public-service, and clinical settings. Starting in human services studies directly out of high school, she set out on a career path intentional about helping others. Life shifted and her focus became her family and raising kids. Birthing 2 kids and adopting 3, she had a lot of opportunity to learn about human development, trauma-informed implementation, and how humans can thrive. Diving back into college, she finished her master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. Her unique journey has blended experiential components with clinical licensure. In her clinical work, she uses a combination of PolyVagal Theory, Adventure Therapy, IFS skills, ACT principles, EMDR, CBT and DBT. Trauma recovery work and resiliency building is key for her. She works well with individuals of all ages who are overcoming traumatic events and desire to build resiliency through processing what was, accepting what is, and cultivating beauty with what could be. Some issues she is experienced in working with are anxiety, depression, difficulty with life transitions, C-PTSD, PTSD, trauma disorders, eating disorders, self-harm, abuse recovery, foster youth, and sexual abuse survivors.

  • Tara Sibert, LMFT

    Tara Sibert is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 30 years of experience in ministry, mental health, and community-based care, she provides both telehealth and in-person counseling that is grounded in clinical excellence and guided by Biblical principles.  

    Tara holds a B.A. in Sociology from California State University, Northridge, and an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University. Her professional journey has included working with individuals with disabilities, youth and college ministry, and supporting underserved families—experiences that deeply inform her therapeutic approach.

    Tara specializes in family dynamics, parenting challenges, women’s issues, marital difficulties, as well as life transitions. She has a particular heart for those navigating foster care and adoption, drawing from her own family’s experience. She integrates trust-based and attachment-focused interventions, offering practical tools and deep empathy.

    Her therapy approach combines evidence-based practices—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, and role-play—with a client-centered, faith-informed perspective.

    Tara creates a compassionate and safe space where individuals, couples, and families can explore their stories, heal from pain, and grow toward lasting change. She believes in coming alongside each client, building on their strengths, and helping them discover hope, clarity, and restoration.

  • Ilina Renkema LCPC

    Ilina Renkema is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience working in the mental health field. Her passion is working with children, youth and families as she believes in early intervention, and the importance of preserving the family unit. She has worked in multiple clinical settings including community mental health, schools, residential treatment centers, and group practice. Ilina received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Washington and her Master’s degree in Counseling from Seattle University. Ilina utilizes evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and Play therapy. Sheworks with clients across the lifespan and has experience with presenting issues such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, major life changes, emotion regulation, parenting, and relationship struggles. Ilina’s practice is grounded in both strong clinical skills and her Christian faith that aligns with the Bible. Ilina compassionately works with clients to build upon their strengths, gain deeper insight, and create positive and lasting changes. She creates a safe space where individuals and families can work through life challenges, heal from painful experiences,and grow as they find clarity, healing and hope.

     

  • Ashley Erlandson-Intern

    Ashlee is passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, believing deeply in the power of restoration and healing. Her faith-informed approach to counseling supports clients in moving toward emotional, relational, and spiritual wholeness.

    With over 15 years of experience serving in church leadership and family-focused ministries, Ashlee has developed a strong passion for supporting individuals, couples, and families through relational complexities. She has experience walking with neurodivergent families and is committed to offering empathy, understanding, and hope in the midst of life’s challenges.

    Ashlee works with individuals, adolescents, couples, and families using a strengths-based, person-centered approach that honors each client’s unique story and potential. She brings a compassionate and grounded presence to the counseling space, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can grow, heal, and thrive. Ashlee is currently completing her graduate-level counseling degree and expects to graduate in August 2026.

  • Zach Couch-Intern

    Zach Couch is nearing the completion of his graduate training. With years of prior ministry experience working closely with teens and young adults, Zach brings a deep commitment to connection, empathy, and collaborative growth in the therapeutic process. Before pursuing his master’s degree in counseling, he served for many years as a mentor and small‑group leader at Real Life Ministries, supporting youth and young adults through relational, strengths‑based guidance.

    Zach integrates evidence‑based strategies with Christ‑centered principles to help clients identify their strengths, deepen self‑awareness, and move toward meaningful change. His clinical work is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and strength‑based, trauma‑informed approaches. He is passionate about helping clients uncover the underlying patterns that contribute to feeling stuck and empowering them to pursue healing, resilience, and personal growth.

    Zach is completing his internship under the clinical supervision of Joe Mitrovich, PsyD, a Licensed Psychologist. To ensure quality care, Zach’s supervised sessions are held to the same professional standards expected of a licensed counselor.

  • Mike Wraith LCSW- Executive Director

    Mike Wraith is an experienced behavioral health leader with over 20 years of expertise in clinical practice, program development, and systems-level leadership. He most recently served as Bureau Chief for the Center of Excellence within Idaho’s Division of Behavioral Health, where he led statewide initiatives like the Region 1 Mobile Response Team and the CIT Collaborative.

    A licensed clinical social worker with a master’s degree from Northwest Nazarene University, Michael is now bringing his leadership and faith-driven vision to his new role as Executive Director at City on a Hill Behavioral Health Center.

  • Joe Mitrovich PsyD- Clinical Director

    Dr. Joe Mitrovich is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience, specializing in primary care, oncology, forensic, and military medicine. He earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Indiana State University and has served in roles including Primary Care Mental Health Integration Psychologist at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center and Consulting Psychologist at MultiCare Regional Cancer Center.

    Now Clinical Director at City on a Hill, Dr. Mitrovich is dedicated to providing Christ-centered care, bringing healing, restoration, and hope to those in need.

  • Alisha Kreissig - Office Manager

    Alisha is passionate about creating a welcoming and empowering environment for all who walk in to City on a Hill. She is known for making individuals feel seen, heard, and genuinely understood, ensuring every interaction is handled with empathy and professionalism from the moment they arrive. Alisha thrives at overseeing daily operations, supporting the clinical team, and building a culture of inspiration, collaboration, and fun!

    Her strong interpersonal skills, organization, and dedication to faith drives her to lead with warmth and enthusiasm. Her presence helps ensure the office reflects care and professionalism that defines the entire team.
