To be a leading center in North Idaho where aspiring counselors are trained in an integrated faith-based and evidence-based framework.

Our Values.

  • Counseling that is rooted in biblical truth and compassion. Integrating biblical categories and principles into every aspect of counseling.

  • Offering restorative services grounded in biblical truth and compassion for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

  • Upholding professional and ethical standards while embracing a biblical approach, using evidence-based practices. Continuously developing counselors to uphold the highest standards.

  • Equipping individuals, families, and future counselors to thrive in life, relationships, and service.

  • Building strong, supportive networks within families, the counseling profession, and the broader community. Building a supportive and trusting environment for clients, counselors, and families.

Our History.

City on a Hill Center was started out of concern for the mental well-being of our community. As mental challenges increase and the availability of counselors and counselors with a Christian world view decreases, a group of people felt compelled to be a part of the solution to a growing problem. With the support of Real Life Ministries, located in Post Falls, Idaho, City on a Hill Center was formed in the fall of 2024.

City on a Hill has its own board and is incorporated. We are grateful for the support received from Real Life Ministries as we launch and become a center that impacts our community and beyond. We are in the process of hiring personell, implementing our vision, and aim to open to serve patients in Fall of 2025.
